Starting from May 2008 the Pataki Center would like to bring over to the USA university and college students with J-1 visa to work. With company sponsorship the approval for the J-1 visa is easy and fast. This could be a good opportunity for the students, regardless of which country the student comes from, to get a first hand experience in the USA, earn money, explore, travel etc..
We have a preliminary contract with the TA Center of America ( the Travel Center of America provides resting places all over the USA where the drivers can rest, eat, sleep, buy food etc...).
Based on contract  we provides various services for the TA Centers (TA Centers usually are located along major routes like I-95 etc..,- for more information please check out the TA Center's website: www.tatravelcenters.com). We provide cashiers, gas attendants, do hotel-motel cleaning,  etc.. The job is easy and clean. No previous experience or training needed! The applicants for the job can start working immediately! Weekly salary is $350-450 ($8/hour and the applicants for the job can work extended hours if they want to). The salary is paid biweekly based on how many working hours for the person is reported by the local TA Center manager. The workers for the TA Center can live in the TA Travel Center's motel apartments for $150/person a months (only 2 person per motel apartment). The motel apartments are nice and ideal for two people or a couple. The jobs would be at the TA Travel Centers of NJ, CT, PA, DE, VA, NC, SC etc.
We sponsor the students through the SEVIS program run by the State Department in order to be able to get the J-1 visa at the US Embassy and then we take it from there. Our fee is $300, which covers our various costs.
The prospective applicants should start the process from February till May 2008 in order to be able to come to the USA in the Summer of 2008.
The J-1 visa will be valid till October 2008 and after that the student will have various options:
- go home,
- change of status and extension of stay to be able to remain in the USA legally,
- the student can continue his/her academic studies in the USA etc...
